Have you ever paid $50,000 a year to a tax attorney? I have seen many people with high assets and high wealth (not necessarily high income). The average Joe doesn't have access to those sorts of things, but truly wealthy people do.

It taxes the "richest" 1% of WAGE EARNERS. Understand the difference. Warrent Buffet isn't a wage earner. You are.

You get a paycheck for example of $50,000 which is shown on a W-2 at the end of the year.

A 5% tax on the top 1%. The top 1% makes 1.1M. If the workforce, including part time is 200M, then that is 2M people. That comes to 110 billion a year, which we can spend on the 42% of children that live in poverty. Those are the people that really need the money.
